I wrote "Life is Like a Toilet Paper Roll," just for family and personal amusement. I had no intention of ever recording it. We were in the studio working on a more serious album. During one of the breaks, I jokingly played it for Jim, the drummer. Jim cracked up! "Let's record it," he said. "It's so simple, it'll only take a few minutes." So we did. The response was one I never expected. We've have literally been overwhelmed with requests. One church even plays "Life is Like a Toilet Paper Roll," at the beginning of the service as they greet their members. (Now that's a strange and peculiar church!" Wonder if "Charmin" needs a theme song?
